Hard-working helpers for heavy loads

Moving heavy loads safely is part of everyday life in production environments. With the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), named move-e-star, processes can be automated and, when connected in groups, even oversized loads can be transported with exceptionally high maneuverability. Approaches to solve this problem, such as the use of hovercraft or special wheels with greater steering freedom, fail primarily due to the high demands they place on the surface of the factory halls in order to function smoothly. Here, HIT Hafen- und Industrietechnik GmbH is closing a significant gap in its offering with its flat, articulated special electric vehicle “move-e-star”, which has at least a four-axle loading area.
