Investment at the Wardenburg location
The wheel loaders are rolling on Ostkamp in the Astrup industrial area. HIT Hafen- und Industrietechnik is expanding its production hall at the Wardenburg location. “The increasing demand for our autonomous transport platform “move-e-star” makes new construction and extensions necessary,” explained HIT Managing Director Gerwin Eilers at the groundbreaking ceremony on the construction site opposite the administration building.
Frank Speckmann, general representative of Wardenburg's mayor Martina Noske, was pleased about the six-figure investment by the medium-sized company. “It is important for us as a community to keep companies that are developing positively in the community.”
