HIT is expanding its location in Wardenburg
A clear commitment to the community of Wardenburg as a business location: The company Hafen- und Industrietechnik GmbH (HIT) is expanding its production hall in the Wardenburg industrial area. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday.
“We are currently producing our vehicles on 480 square meters, then there will be 1,400,” says managing director Gerwin Eilers. The goal is to produce ten vehicles in parallel in the future. Three vehicles can currently be produced at the same time.
The company's vehicle is the "move-e-star", an electrically powered low-floor transport vehicle, as it is known in technical language. It is used, among other things, in production halls to bring materials from one production and processing station to the next and can be fully automated. “With our modular system, we can flexibly adapt the move-e-star to the needs of individual customers,” emphasizes Eilers.
